Milan is the second largest city in Italy. Almost everything in Milan revolves around the fashion industry. Most famous designers and fashion houses tend to be located in the city—the area around Via Monte Napoleone and Via Della Spiga is the heart and home to many fashion industry flagship stores. Centro Storico is where many of the city’s famous sights are located, including the Duomo and La Scala Opera. Navigli, by the canals, is another exciting neighborhood famous for its nightlife, while Brera is an artsy enclave.
Lake Como (Lago di Como) is one of the famous Italian Lakes destinations, not far from Milan in the north of Italy. Lake Como is long (50km), slender and extremely deep. The southern end forks into two long ‘legs’, with the picturesque town of Bellagio situated on the promontory between them.
Como is a lively and pleasant town with an appealing historical centre and a scenic location at the southern end of the east branch of Lake Como. The impressive cathedral (Duomo), like most in Italy, was built and added to over a period of centuries, so you can admire Gothic and Renaissance features including some fine tapestries and paintings. The town’s earlier cathedral (built in the tenth century), San Fedele, is another fine sight, as are the tall nine-hundred-year-old gateway, Porta Vittoria, and the Romanesque church Sant’Abbondio. The town’s art gallery (Pinacoteca) is also worth a visit. For a short trip out of town, take the funicular up to the top of the hill above Como, where you can enjoy spectacular views.

Milan is the main city in Northern Italy and it is one of the most important business centers in Europe, but at the same time it offers its visitors some splendid sights, which are best enjoyed on foot.
The walking tour will include La Scala Opera Theatre, the Royal Palace, the Sforza Castle, Piazza Cordusio, Piazza Mercanti and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Your guide will also take you through the fashion district of Via Montenapoleone, Via della Spiga, Via S.Andrea, where the most important Italian fashion designers have their shops. The tour will end at Piazza Duomo.
PRIVATE FRANCIACORTA WINE TOUR WITH TWO WINE TASTINGS AND LUNCH
Wine lovers will not want to miss the opportunity to discover Franciacorta, an unspoiled, inspiring area in the heart of Lombardy which has inherited the legacy of a winemaking tradition dating back to Ancient Rome. The presence in the region of Lake Como and Lake Garda makes it easy to overlook the tranquil, low-profile Lake Iseo, but, as a matter of fact, Franciacorta is blessed by a unique combination of climate and soil, and vines heavy with chardonnay, pinot nero, and pinot bianco grapes yield delicate sparkling wine, the namesake Franciacorta. Produced following the same fermentation process used for Champagne, Franciacorta is drier, yeastier, and more complex than better-known prosecco.
Our English-speaking driving escort will accompany you in the discovery of this area and of its best wines and vines. During the pleasant drive through vineyards and small villages, two breaks have been planned to visit two amongst the most appreciated wineries of the region, whose wines and enologists have been awarded with national and international prizes. Here, you learn the taste, the character and the history of wines which are a real treasure of Italian food excellence. Furthermore, since Franciacorta is home to a cuisine unique like its landscapes, a lunch stop on the shores of the Lake Iseo gives the final touch to a day dedicated to a perhaps not so fashionable but decidedly authentic and generous part of Italy.

A wonderful day of sightseeing and tasting through the Montagne de Reims. In the morning, the Marne valley and your first tasting with a visit at a small Champagne house.
Visit of Hautvillers, an attractive village on the southern slope of the Montagne de Reims, with old houses and hand-painted wrought-iron signs, it forms part of the three-top wine-growing areas of Ay, Hautvillers and Avenay.
Dom Perignon (1638-1715), who is buried in the old abbey church of Hautvillers, was in charge of the cellars of the Benedictine abbey. The monk was the first to blend various wines to produce Champagne. He also supervised the double fermentation process and initiated the use of cork. Dom Perignon invented the science of Champagne and personifies the spirit of the Champagne people, a mix of method and audacity.
In the afternoon, visit Reims cathedral where most French Kings were crowned. Visit and tasting of a major Champagne house and cellars.
